The exchange rate of the Rupiah against the United States Dollar (us) still survive in level of Rp 14.100. The Rupiah hasn't made it out of the pressure the US dollar.
Alerts you of Bloomberg Dollar Index, Wednesday (27/6/2018) at 10.27 GMT, the Rupiah weakened exchange spot trading on 20 points or 0.14% to as low as Rp 14.179 per USD.
While Yahoofinance noted, the Rupiah was at the level of Rp 14.173 per USD. In the radar of Yahoofinance, the Rupiah is in range of Rp 14.123 per USD to Idr 14.180 per USD.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani explained that the weakening of the rupiah should be viewed from a benchmark against other countries as well as against the U.S. dollar alone.
"Because every day there's a trigger, is today President of Trump said this, then his policy toward the PRC (people's Republic of China). So this will continue to be a dynamic that will we have to hold responsivity, not daily but we take care of the so-called medium term length, "said Sri Mulyani after the President called Joko Widodo at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday (25/6/2018).
Minister of finance said that during this year the implementation of the STATE BUDGET can walk well and keep economic growth momentum will be maintained.
"We will see a great many facets of it, so we don't respond to every day, but we are doing what is called monitoring and evaluation of the reaction altogether, " said.
